Eden Brown Synergy are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Team Manager to join a children and families team with Devon County Council. This role is to cover North Devon - Barnstaple.
The Role:
Working as an Assistant Team Manager you will work with the Team Manager to ensure effective running of the social work team to include oversight and quality assurance.
You will have a specific role with students, newly qualified and transition social workers you'll embed a high-performance culture by helping your team to continually develop their skills so that they can achieve the best outcomes for our children and theirfamilies. Through reflective supervision meetings with your team of social workers, you'll champion their personal and professional growth. Alongside your role as a people manager, you will also be responsible for the allocation and oversight of cases withinyour defined area, ensuring quality standards are maintained, as well as supporting social workers to identify risk and decide when to take protective action.
Essential Requirements:

- Social Work Qualification
- Experience in management and supervision within children's services
- Social Work England Registration
- Driving license and access to own vehicle
