An exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Team Leader as arisen for our client a Food Manufacturer based in Kent. You will be a motivated and enthusiastic Production Team Leader who will oversee the running of the Production Team who are responsiblefor preparing premixes in the industrial blenders with the highest quality standards in mind. This is a Night Shift role. The main responsibilities will be:

- Responsible for supervising of a small team
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene & efficiency
- Set up and preparation of equipment where necessary
- Overseeing production activities
- Carrying out control point checks
- Accurate completion of batch documents and other production records
- Preparation of raw material ingredients including calculations, part requests and picking
- Maintain quality standards and practices to ensure a high quality finished products
- Completion of the work set out by the Supervisor in an efficient manor
- Ensure that employees comply with company policies and lead by example at all times
- Support departmental training and maintain production training records to a high standard

Must have previous experience of Food Manufacturing and some experience of managing a team. Good written and spoken English. Good numeracy skills and be a strong communicator. This is a Night Shift role from Sunday to Thursday 10pm-6am.
