**What you’ll be doing**

The End Point Assessment (EPA) process involves carrying out the final assessment of engineering apprentices, ensuring they are competent in the role they have been trained for. The IET is registered and recognized as a high-quality EPA organisation whocan deliver EPAs in a fair, valid and consistent manner by adhering to Ofqual conditions. These are managed through various systems, policies, processes and are continually reviewed and monitored to ensure we continue to deliver high quality services.

As the Quality Assurance Administrator, you will provide excellent general administration support to the EPA management team as well as supporting the Quality Assurance Manager in maintaining systems, policies, and processes for measuring the consistencyand the quality assurance of assessments.

This role benefits from Hybrid working, which for us means home working and attending the Stevenage office typically two times per week.

A background in quality or compliance would be advantageous.

**A little more about the role**
- To support the Quality Assurance Manager in collating information for requests from External Quality Assurance Bodies
- To support the Quality Assurance Manager in collating, producing an issuing of a quarterly assessor newsletter
- To support the Quality Assurance Manager with collating information for internal audits, checking the EPA team are adhering to EPA policies and processes
- To organise the delivery of standardisation events, including issuing the agenda, gathering information for the presentation and taking minutes
- To organise the EPA Steering Group Meeting, including issuing the agenda, collating information for the presentation and taking minutes
- To support the EPA team in obtaining feedback from Apprentices, Providers, Employers on a regular basis
- To support the allocation of IQA Auditors to perform observations and monitoring
- To carry out administrative procedures that support organisations seeking End Point Assessment Services including task tracking and record keeping
- To implement and set up tracking databases/spreadsheets
- To become an expert user of the online assessment system (ACE360) - full training will be provided

- Experience of quality assurance
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work with mínimal supervision and act on own initiative
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work under pressure, to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Report writing experience
- Experience of managing complex administrative activities
- Experience of procuring and managing complex data and producing statistical reports
- Desirable_
- Experience of minute taking
