We are currently looking for a career driven and ambitious Graduate level Buyer for an Automotive business. This exciting opportunity can offer superb opportunities for future career progression and development.
Day to Day Duties
Once fully trained, the Buyer will be an integral member of the Operations team. They will be given the necessary product training and when ready by responsible for specific purchasing tasks on identified projects. Some key duties for the Buyer will be as follows;
Sourcing of raw materials to meet production demands
Ensuring that materials are purchased at the most competitive prices, on time and to the required specifications
Working closely with developers, engineers and the project team for supplier strategies
As Buyer, Participating in supplier reviews.
Essential Skills
Degree educated in relevant discipline
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Competent working with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project.
A flexible approach and the ability to work effectively with others.
Desirable Experience
Some work experience within Buying would be desirable
