**Salary**: Around £35,000

Nonstop Care is working with a well established children's charity to recruit for the position of Supervising Social Worker within the Devon/Cornwall area.

You will be joining a very stable and committed team of a children's charity. As a charity, their whole purpose is to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and young people in care so you know you will part of an organisation that puts childrenfirst.

As this is a therapeutic fostering agency you will be providing specialist services tailored to achieve the best outcomes for children in care. You will receive ongoing training and will work alongside clinical practitioners to provide this specialist care,allowing you to develop skills and expertise in fostering within a supportive environment.

Caseloads are manageable, meaning you won't be overwhelmed and will have time to give cases the attention they need.

This role also has lots of homeworking flexibility meaning you can better fit the job around your own life.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities within this role include providing supervision and developmental support to foster carers, conducting visits and assessments for foster carer applicants and completing fostering reviews to ensure high standards of care.

**Requirements**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and child focused social worker who is open to development and committed to best practice within a therapeutic framework.
This role requires a social work qualification and registration and access to your own vehicle to travel across the Cornwall/Devon area.

**Benefits**:
Benefits include 29 days annual leave plus public holidays, flexible maternity, adoption and paternity packages and an employer contribution pension scheme.
