**What you'll get to work on**:
As a Fleet Operations Contracts Specialist you’ll be responsible for supporting our fleet of assets and to manage the supply chain partners who play a key role within our division. You’ll manage major fleet contract frameworks within the commercial function including but not limited to; LCV Contract leases, company cars, hired in vehicles, mobile plant, fuel, vehicle conversions and vehicle management & compliance software.
You’ll also be
- Supporting the Head of Fleet & Logistics and the Network Fleet and Logistics Managers in providing a best-in-class fleet operations support service to internal customers.
- Building and supporting the development of relationships with supply chain partners, whilst acting as a key point of contact for the business for matters associated with all incumbent fleet operations partners and their activities.
- Ensuring robust contract performance/reliability measures are in place via a suite of key performance indicators, management information packs and other associated data analysis.
- Supporting all post-contract operational & commercial matters including but not limited to ensuring that the core contractual principles are adhered to, performance management, negotiating/agreeing compensation events and other day to day administration/managerial requirements.
**Who are we looking for**:
- Experience in contract management
- UK driving license
- Associate Member of CILT or CIPS
- Experience in utility operations with a focus on fleet operations
- Commercial awareness and understanding of cost drivers in the supply chain and related customer business drivers.
- Experience to support the execution of a defined business strategy and support the implementation of a significant Transformation Programme.
- The ability to manage multiple contracts whilst adhering to the terms and conditions as set out with the agreed frameworks.
- Experience of Interpreting complex data from multiple sources on fleet elements, such as availability, maintainability, reliability, supply chain management, strategic sourcing, distribution, supplier management, or transportation.
- Ability to present to executive level (internally and externally).
- Awareness of industry legislation and operating restrictions in the industry.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
