**Employer Engagement Manager - Covering Oldham & Tameside**
**Salary: **From £26,000 per annum
The Employer Engagement Manager will be accountable for sourcing vacancies, apprenticeships, traineeships and supported internships by building on local employer links and engaging employers, to enable employment, training and education opportunities forparticipants.
The Employer Engagement Manager will develop, maintain and manage relationships with key organisations within the region, to ensure and enable effective delivery of positive outcomes primarily for the GM NEETs contract with a clear understanding of otherIngeus Prime contracts within Greater Manchester.
**Duties**:
- Utilise Labour Market Insight to identify growth sectors and engage SMEs and understand local and national policy relating to skills and vocational services
- Visit stakeholders, employers and organisations to build, develop and manage ongoing relationships.
- Help employers review their resourcing requirements to improve inclusivity e.g. introducing flexible working options, creating trial work opportunities.
- Source jobs/Apprenticeships/Traineeships/Supported Internships through direct support to employers looking to grow their workforce, particularly in growth sectors e.g. NHS/Care, digital/ICT, warehouse and logistics.
- Engage with local education and training providers to identify provision available and any access requirements
- Co-design skills routeways into forthcoming vacancies
- Leverage Supply Chain Partners’ employer engagement resources and vacancies/opportunities
- Coordinating with local initiatives to connect young people to employers e.g. participating in National Careers Week events.
- Providing employers with In-Work Support to maximise sustained outcomes.
- Identify Outreach opportunities within communities for local outreach teams to support
- Promote a strong brand and ensure that Ingeus become an integral part of the local communities and businesses.
- Develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
- Maintain a sound knowledge of contract requirements.
- Ensure adherence to quality processes and procedures.
- Ensure that concise, timely and accurate reporting systems are maintained at all times to meet contractual and business requirements
- Under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 each employee has a responsibility to Health and Safety and must also adhere to their responsibilities as laid out in the H & S policy
- Any other related duties as required by the business objectives

- Able to effectively network and build relationships internally and externally.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence at all levels. Resilience and decision making
- Experience of working in B2B sales, recruitment or telesales
- Excellent written oral and written communication skills.
- A high level of flexibility and demonstrate ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and circumstances.
- An ability to handle multiple priorities and projects for on time delivery of the highest quality.
- To behave toward others in a respectful way, recognising that people come from different backgrounds, live different lifestyles and have different needs.
- To promote and safeguard the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
