**Behaviour Support Assistant role in Wheatley, South Oxfordshire**

Are you a recent Psychology, Sociology or Criminology graduate? Are you looking to gain experience before becoming a qualified criminal justice officer? Do you want to help support young people with behavioural needs but don't know where to start?

A School for children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs is looking for a Behavioural Support Assistant to join their supportive team ASAP in a long-term position. The children in this Wheatley School range from 11 to 18 and have a range of mentalhealth needs. This is therefore an ideal role for an aspiring Criminal Justice Officer to work alongside young people with additional needs and help assist them in their learning.

As a Behaviour Support Assistant, your daily duties will involve raising the academic and emotional attainment of the students and assist the teacher in delivering fun and engaging lessons. The class of children will be extremely challenging and thereforeyou will need to manage their behavioural accordingly and be able to remain calm when challenging and complex situations arise. You will receive all the necessary training to deal with the difficult behaviour.
