Estates Deputy Team Leader

In this role you will need to provide an efficient support to the Estates Team leader in the management of the Group Estate, ensuring a safe, clean and secure environment for all. To manage Estate staff and provide maintenance, key holder and caretakingservices across all campuses in the group. To manage the sites and facilities effectively ensuring the sites are well maintained, statutory requirements complied with and contractors duly managed whilst on site.
**Estates Deputy Team Leader Responsibilities**:

- To support and assist the Estates Team Leader in managing the team
- To support with the provision of a clean safe sites for all.
- To comply with all statutory compliance issues and complete corrective action when and as required.
- Cover team absences when required to ensure that all opening hours are covered accordingly.
- Litter picking and rubbish removal.
- Room setups and room break downs to support meetings and events in a timely manner etc.
- Support with the maintenance of the Groups vehicle fleet including record keeping.
- Support with the allocation of work to Estate team.
- Ensure value for money on all purchases and works.
- To liaise with Building Supervisor, Estate Coordinator and Group Estate Manager on all estate matters.
- To provide First Aid within the Group
- Actively involved in the collaborative approach to cross college working
- Continuation of personal development as agreed at appraisal.
- Promoting and practising Equality of Opportunity and challenging to prevent prejudice

**Estates Deputy Team Leader Requirements**:

- Experience of line management in a similar position within a large organization
- Hold or be prepared to work towards a minimum of GCSE grade C or Level 2 (National Qualification Framework) in English (Literacy) and Maths (Numeracy)
- Ability to work without close supervision
- To hold a current driving licence
- Willingness to work flexibly, both in relation to role, location and working hours (alternate shifts)
- Manual / Craft skills relevant to the undertaking of routine maintenance tasks

**Location**: Nuneaton Campus (Multi Site Coverage when required)
