We have opened a brilliant opportunity for a machining professional to show off their expertise and get involved with a forward moving aerospace manufacturing company based in Southend on Sea.

This role will leave you responsible for:
**Responsibilities**:

- Set and operate CNC machines including fixed head, sliding head and milling machines - as directed. These machines include Doosen and Hardinge and Star.
- Read and understand engineering drawings.
- Adhere to all documented company health and safety.
- Ensure all production records are completed accurately and that the movement of work is recorded on the company computerised system.
- Carry out first-off buddy checks and job run inspection of 1st and 2nd Operations machine parts.
- Maintain machine efficiency to ensure we comply with On Time Deliveries, Arrears, Parts per Hour (PPH) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Manufacture good quality products in line with agreed standards and quality procedures.
- Complete daily maintenance check sheets and cycle timesheets.
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment is maintained at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Experience within manufacturing environment, within aerospace, automotive or defence.
- Maintain regular consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Adhere to the Health & Safety and Ethical Behaviour Policies & Procedures
