The role is responsible for establishing and maintaining existing customer service satisfaction and developing new selling opportunities within the client base.
My client offers a base salary up to £32K depending on experience, with commission based targets. Hybrid, flexible working between 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday. The role will include visits to clients with access to a pool car when required. The offer excellentpersonal development, 23 days holiday increasing with service, and a well-being benefit scheme.
**Main Duties**
- Provide well rounded, customer service driven account management to an existing customer base.
- Identify and develop opportunities and offer strategic solutions to ensure business goals are met.
- Take ownership of opportunities throughout the sales lifecycle; adopting a consultative selling approach to understand their business challenges and provide guidance with the help of our projects team on the right solution.
- Confidently present IT recommendations, solution costs and justifications to management and board level customer contacts.
- Lead in the creation and preparation of quotes, proposals and tender responses, collaborating with team members when required.
- Be willing to participate in the cultivation of new business.
- Work with all team members to maintain our customers IT requirements and service delivery satisfaction.
- Point of contact for our general customer base on all account management matters
- Arrange customer service and strategy review meetings with key clients
- Analyse product gaps and identify/upsell new sales opportunities
- Provide forecast metrics and clearly communicate progress on ongoing sales campaigns
**Skills and Knowledge**
- Proven background or understanding of the IT MSP industry
- Good understanding of IT customer service and technical sales, specifically in delivering IT support services, on-premises IT solutions, and hosted cloud-based IT
- Professional services experience
- Excellent time management and organisation skills, with the ability to multitask
- Documentation and reporting skills
- Outstanding customer care, active listening, and communication skills
- Good numerical and literacy skills and good levels of computer literacy
- Ability to work in fast-moving environment and adapt to changes quickly
- Team player
- Can do attitude
- Goal focused, self-starter
- Good analytical skills, with strong commercial awareness
- A flexible approach to working from the Fareham head office, at home, and visiting client premises
- A full UK driving license will be essential for this role
