This is a pivotal appointment within the operations functional team, tasked with delivering high quality, essential services to regional water companies such as South West Water, Wessex Water,Dwr Cymru Welsh Water, and Thames Water. The focus is ensuringsound commercial planning, governance, and performance, ensuring best practice, and enabling the business to deliver the incredible value that both we and our customers demand.
To succeed you will need an excellent understanding of the capital delivery process. You will be exceptionally diligent, accurate and disciplined, and will have a very firm grasp of how to deliver great value to all stakeholders. Water sector experienceis desirable.
The following are essential:
- An appropriate degree; in a commercial, engineering, mathematics or economics discipline
- MRICS or working towards chartership
- Experience of NEC suite of contracts and contract administration
- Familiarity with stakeholder engagement and collaboration
- A constructive approach to dispute resolution
- Understanding of incentivisation models
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities
