**Role Overview**

To lead and work in a team of 2 - 4 men in the installation and commissioning of Microwave radio's across a number of core client networks.

**Role and Responsibilities**
- Microwave link installation and commissioning
- Complete surveys for upgrades, tower strengthening, site relocation, maintenance, and Line of Site
- Requirement to work at height and climb poles, masts and towers
- Installing and maintaining client's Microwave Radio Links
- Carry out rigging techniques to Install and maintain masts, fixed and temporary structures
- Installing and maintaining waveguide feeder cables, fibre and associated ancillary equipment
- Terminate communication cables of various types and sizes.
- Installation of all current RAN antenna systems
- Complete the various testing and commissioning of various antenna and feeder line systems
- Carry out rigging techniques to Install and maintain Microwave Dish Antenna installation and panning works
- Carry out rigging techniques to Install of steelwork,
- Work with cranes, MEWP's & HIAB's to carry out works on site
- Carry out manual labour of various descriptions to complete the works as required
- Attend various training courses as part of personal development and safety courses
- Assisting in the development of other team members
- Ensuring the highest standards of work and safety practices are met both on site and within the specified work environment
- Any other Duties as directed by your line manager.

**What are we looking for?**

- MATS Climber & Tower Rescue Certification
- Manual Handling Awareness
- First Aid at Height certification
- Rooftop Access and Safety Certification
- Working at Height Medical
- Rigging and Lifting (for MBNL sites)
- Asbestos Awareness Certification
- RF Awareness
- Abrasive Wheels
- Must be prepared to work Nationwide and be away from home location
- Full (preferably clean) Driving License
- Ability to hold National NPPV 3 Security clearance
