You will be joining a well-established R&D team at a company who invest heavily in product development across challenging and diverse projects. This role is specific to the Multifunctional Display Team.
The ideal Senior Software Engineer - C++ / GUI will have experience of designing, coding, integrating, testing and de-bugging high-level software.
The main responsibilities of the Senior Software Engineer - C++ / GUI role will be to:

- Develop high-quality software code in C++
- Provide technical leadership within a multi-disciplined development and test team
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve
These are the essential and preferable skills/experience required for the Senior Software Engineer - C++ / GUI role:

- Strong C++
- Good OO knowledge, with experience of doing OO design to turn a large problem into classes
- Mentor and support junior and outsource developers
- Self-starting and willingness to take responsibility for a feature at a top level, rather than just looking at individual tasks
- Estimation and experience breaking a large feature down into work packages maintaining vertical slices so early tasks are testable (Preferable)
- Some experience with Scrum / Agile (Preferable)
