The Accounts Assistant is accountable for supporting the Financial Accountant with tasks such as reporting, ledger maintenance, administration, and account reconciliation.

**What’s in it for you?**
- Salary-Up to £28k depending on experience
- Hours -Monday-Thursday 8:45 to 5pm with a 45min lunch, Friday 8:45 to 4pm with a 1hour lunch
- 22 Days holiday (pro-rata) plus 8 bank holidays. This increases by 1day for every full year of service, up to a maximum of 30 days.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Management, accounting, and reconciliation of petty cash for the business.
- Managing the Company’s vehicle leasing schedule, processing invoices accordingly.
- Ensure that all Company expenditure is analysed in accordance with HMRC regulations.
- Accurately posting and coding all business expense and mileage claims, following through on all queries in accordance with Company’s policy.
- Submitting Intrastat declarations, preparing commission reports, preparing bank reconciliation, assisting with month end duties, posting bank adjustments and preparing and posting journals.
- Supporting with the Company’s annual financial audit process.

**What the employer is looking for**:

- At least 1 years’ experience in a similar position or a graduate with an accounting/finance based degree
- High level of attention to detail
- Naturally numerical and analytical
- Competent in using MS Office packages; Word/ Excel/ Outlook etc
- Confident communicator
