Lecturer, Examiner and Instructor

**JOB PURPOSE**

Employed by Somax, the post-holder will work alongside the Logistics and Warehouse Business Development Manager and Training Manager to undertake all aspects of driver training, classroom delivery and assessing as required by the business.

The expectation is that the Construction Training Centre will be considered the market leader in the South West and the wider region for high quality commercial and funded training.

It is expected that the post holder will have a strong background in driver training programs in logistics and warehousing and have a high degree of knowledge/experience of the sector training needs.

**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

As post-holder, you will be responsible to the Logistics and Warehouse Business Development Manager for the following:

- Undertaking LGV/PCV driver training in all categories.
- Deliver Driver CPC courses - remotely and in the classroom.
- To deliver MHE (Forklifts and plant machinery).
- Undertaking assessing as and when required.
- Contribute to the Quality Assurance processes and work with the Centre IQA to maintain awarding bodies centre accreditation minimum criteria.
- Working closely with relevant management to ensure systems and processes are fit for purpose and adhered to by the staff team.
- Be prepared to undertake further training in order to enhance flexibility within the business.
- Partake in all training and development required.
- Any other duties commensurate with the job description as required by the College.

**Salary**: £23,960.00-£31,639.00 per year
