A fast paced and highly commercial organisation based across multiple locations. They are currently recruiting for a Category Manager (Indirect) to join the team. The role is based from their offices near Solihull and will work on a hybrid basis.
**Your new role**
Reporting to the Head of Procurement, the Category Manager (Indirect) will be responsible for managing the procurement if indirect goods and services across the organisation. Key categories will include business services, facilities management, contract services,property and engineering services. The Category Manager will lead sourcing and tendering processes. negotiate on and draft contracts, support contract mobilisation, and review and manage supplier relationships. The role will partner key internal stakeholdersto understand business plans and ensure procurement requirements are delivered that minimise costs and risks, as well as ensuring reliability and quality of service. The Category Manager will also develop policies and process, and seek opportunities for continuousimprovement.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful you will be an experienced Category Manager or Senior Buyer with strong expertise of managing indirect goods and services procurement. Previous experience of managing facilities management contracts and one off spend is required. You will beable to demonstrate success in commercial negotiation, supplier management and managing projects. It is vital that you can build relationships with people across the business, be highly analytical and have a solutions focused approach.
**What you'll get in return
**You will receive a salary of £40,000 to £50,000 plus benefits
