They are now seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the team

Working alongside talented Developers, Designers, Copywriters and Marketing specialists, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance and optimisation of a leading e-commerce website, developing new functionality, and supporting our migration to Magento 2.

**Essential skills**
- Excellent knowledge and experience of OOP PHP and MySQL.
- Magento 1 or 2 experience with a back-end focus.
- Strong MVC skills, including experience with frameworks (we use Zend in Magento and Laravel on other projects).
- Solid understanding of Git and Docker.
- Ability to test and troubleshoot bugs and errors efficiently.
- Keen awareness of coding standards and code optimisation techniques.
- Agile development experience, including the use of task management tools like JIRA.

**Desirable skills**
- Experience using Laravel.
- Skilled in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Understanding of responsive CSS frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap, Foundation).
- Familiarity with client-side scripting frameworks (e.g. Node.js, React, jQuery).
- Experience using XML, JSON and SASS/LESS.
- Familiarity with creating and implementing API frameworks.
- Knowledge of web server configuration and admin (e.g. Linux)
- Experience integrating Google Analytics within a large e-commerce website.

- Passionate about web development, with a desire to continuously learn and improve.
- Well organised and comfortable working within a fast-paced environment.
- Self-sufficient and motivated to see projects through to the end.
