Team Assistant

The Gallagher Re Market Security team has been created to provide analytical insight which supports the activities of the Gallagher Re global broking network. The core objectives of the team are to carry out counterparty credit analysis covering a portfolio of global (re)insurance companies; produce timely and insightful research and to support the business activities of a range of client stakeholders, including the central Gallagher compliance function. Gallagher Re Market Security Team has a diverse work portfolio that includes financial strength analysis, global events assessment, results delivery, business-critical recommendations, interpreting global credit agencies' actions, and serving as a trusted consultant.

**Your Role**
- Becoming a key architect and builder of this developing team’s administrative infrastructure, including policy and procedures, data and file management, etc
- Operating as a centre of excellence for managing Market Security requests received from Gallagher Re and the wider Gallagher group.
- Working closely with senior analysts, managing external client queries and responding efficiently to requests for information and support
- Conduct research to assist the work of the team's analysts as needed
- Managing and owning all aspects of the general administration of the team, ensuring that key tasks are understood and allocated correctly to the appropriate resource - using a risk based approach

**Your Skills, Experience & Qualifications**
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills that can be supported by real-world examples
- Whilst a knowledge of the insurance industry is not essential, a desire to learn and understand the key aspects of the business is
- The ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders
- The ability to respond quickly to change and the confidence to allocate resource when facing competing and multiple demands
- In-depth expertise of the financial services industry is not required, but would be advantageous
- Strong English language; Great written and verbal communication skills
- Eligible to work in the UK
