This is your chance to make your mark in the Lead Link Test Engineering Team early in on the company's development, taking ownership of your own work and use your expertise to achieve personal and business goals.
**The Role**:
Reporting to the Principal Engineering Manager for Link Test this role involves leading a small group of engineers working within the Link test team, who are responsible for initial system testing of the Link systems.

The responsibilities include line manging and mentoring engineers, creating, and running tests and associated test equipment to ensure that all Link systems meet product, functional safety, and quality targets.

As well as the creation of all required design validation plans, documentation, code and ensuring compliance with automotive regulations.

This is a hands-on role where the incumbent is expected to make a major contribution to the wider Link team's technical output with a willingness to work outside their role and help other engineering disciplines if required.

**Requirements**:
Lead Test Engineer is an exciting domain to work within, possessing excellent leadership, people management skills are a must for this position.

Furthermore, a degree in electronics design or experience or equivalent experience would all bring great value to the position. It is essential to have experience in testing of real-time embedded software and processor-based hardware designs. In addition,experience of testing and debugging software using logic analysers and oscilloscopes is crucial. It would also be desirable to have experience of building Hardware in the Loop (HIL) test environments and planning and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
