Our client based in the Fareham area is looking to recruit an experienced Toolhanger to carry out day to day production tool changes as per the requirements of the Production

Controller and Team Leader without immediate supervision, achieving fitting tool & all ancillary equipment correctly & load setting information to Health and Safety ready for the Setter

to start setting processes.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To work within a product focused team and assist with the production of manufacturing the specified product, conforming to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Carry out the day-to-day production tool changes ensuring tool is hung in machine to correct specifications.
- Daily crane safety checks to Mouldshop & safety requirements and filling in all paperwork.
- Liaising with Production Controller and Team Leader to set up jobs to fulfil production programme requirements.
- Return all tools away into correct storage point, relevant preheat stations Mouldshop store or the stores as appropriate.
- Direct Machine Operators to allocate another job if machine is likely to be down for a time.
- Participate in improvement activities.
- Ensure all down time & scrap is recorded on the MES monitoring system.
- Comply to Health and Safety Policy and observe all the safety rules to ensure your personal safety and the safety of others.
- Ensure that you comply and adopt the CANDO (5S) programme regarding the organisation of your work environment.
- To adhere to the Health and Safety at work procedures and report any concerns.
- Ensure complete appliance to all risk assessments and COSSH chemical data sheets.
- To fit Robot Head/Mould Control/Hot Runner Box/all ancillary equipment to Master Set sheet.
- Ensure the safe use of Stacker truck/electrical pallet/Hoist Crane and be trained and qualified to use all machinery.
