**Your new company**
Working with our client who are a public sector body. The role is a hybrid role with a split of work between site and working from home or occasional travel to service users and vendors. This position is 40 Hours a week and you will be required to work withincore hours with occasional additional hours to support the needs of the business.
**Your new role
**An IT Software developer familiar with various computer languages, such as PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS.a good understanding of SQL and database optimisation techniques used in MySQL/ Maria DB. Capable of producing clean, efficient code determined throughguidelines. Must be able to write automated unit testing to test code and programs. Be on hand to help support, troubleshoot, debug, and fix & improve existing software. Ability to document changes which are implemented and create technical documentation forreference and reporting. You will be required to gather and evaluate user feedback.

**What you'll need to succeed**
You must be a team player and able to work in a team environment. you will work closely with engineers and programmers. An ability to clearly convey technical information in a language that is understood by non-technical people. you may be required to workdirectly with service users and vendors. you must have excellent english oral and written communication skills. someone who keeps themselves up to date with new technologies both software and hardware. Eager to attend various classes & workshops to continuallydevelop your own knowledge. The ability to share your ideas, train, coach and mentor new software developers. Hold a valid Full UK Driving License as some travel to vendors or clients may be required.

**What you'll get in return**
Salary of up to £35,000 DOE
31 Days holiday (inclusive of public/bank holidays)
Discretionary Annual Bonus
