Overview:
An award winning financial services organisation are looking to recruit a Senior Quantitative Researcher to join their growing Quantitative team in London. As a key member of their Quantitative team, you will be responsible for the research and development of predictive models to support the organisation’s decision making in areas such as risk management, investment strategy, and pricing.
Roles & responsibilities:

- Using their big data platform you will perform research on systematic trading and find patterns in noisy real-world data sets.
- You will be responsible for the research and development of predictive models.
- Collaborate with and help the team in the development of machine learning techniques for predicting price movements in the FX, Commodities, Futures and Equities.

Essential Skills & Experience:

- 4+ years of experience in quantitative trading
- Experience with alpha research
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python/R/Matlab or Julia
- Experience in Python packages such as Numpy and Pandas
- Experience in designing, implementing and testing quantitative models

Sharpe ratios of 1.5 and above
