An excellent opportunity for a **Chartered Building Surveyor** to join a small but rapidly expanding Building Surveying and Project Management practice specialising in the leasehold sector undertaking a range of surveying and project managementtasks to apartment buildings and mixed use developments.
Your role will involve various surveying related activities starting on site and then the production of high quality reports to be issued to clients. The company offers surveying services to some of the largest Block Management companies in the UK with alarge amount of instructions taken daily. Reporting to the managing partner you will manage your own diary and time.
This is a a chance for someone to join a company in its infancy that has a large and further growing workload and client base, to take us forward and be an integral part of the business.

**Role - the successful applicant will be expected to be able to undertake the following tasks unassisted, they should have practical experience in undertaking most or all of the listed items**:
- Reinstatement cost assessments specifically for apartment buildings and mixed use developments
- Defect inspections & providing technical advice to clients
- Condition & maintenance reports
- Production of specifications of works
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)/10 year plans
- Contract administration specifically acting as surveyor specifying works and monitoring works on site under a JCT contract, the type of works being repair and maintenance
- Deal with party wall matters
**Skills/Experience Required**:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Qualification level - degree in Building Surveying and must have at least MRICS distinction
- Minimum 1 year PQE.
- Clean driving licence
