The HR assistant role is to support the HR Manager in their fast paced HR department and will act as a great development role. This well-established company prides themselves on their core values and are firm believers in support and progression of theiremployees.
**What will the role entails?**
- Managing new HR database including admin of training records, appraisals, sickness certificates and holiday records;
- Monitoring absences;
- References and Right to Work checks;
- Dealing with employee contracts and issuing change of T&C’s;
- Managing employee on boarding as well as off boarding;
- Arranging inductions and assisting with manager on probationary periods;
- Updating and maintaining HR records and general housekeeping of HR files;
- Ad Hoc recruitment assistant;
- Assisting HR manager in disciplinary and grievance meeting including minute taking.
- Preferably with a level 5 CIPD with 1 - 2 years of HR Administration;
- Has a good level of knowledge on Microsoft software i.e. Excel;
- A confident, well-organised and determined individual wanting to progress in their HR career;
- Has an excellent eye for detail and be confident picking up new systems.
