Role overview

HR Advisor

**Location**: Enfield, North London
**Salary**: c. £33,000 per annum
**Hours**: 40 hours per week

GUK manage security services for nearly 1500 sites across the UK, employing around 1000 people - and we are still growing

GUK has evolved to meet the changing security and services needs of UK businesses. With this growth we are looking for people who understand what great service looks like and embrace change to meet the ever changing security and services needs of London businesses.

You will get to manage your own employee relations caseload and there will be plenty of opportunity to be involved in exciting HR projects, which may include lead on key initiatives. For example, policy writing, develop training modules, work on communication & engagement and review our talent pipelines - and a whole lot more

This role would suit someone who is degree / CIPD qualified and looking for the next step in their HR career. As a foundation for this role, you will need to have strong hands on experience supporting the administrative element of the employee lifecycle.

**Ideal knowledge, skills and experience**:

- Experience of working with and advising line managers on good people management
- Recruitment and selection
- Application and understanding of HR Data, reporting and analysis
- Strong knowledge of employment law
- Influencing and relationship building skills
- Good command of English - written and spoken
- Understands great customer services / service excellence
- Understanding of workforce planning systems / databases
- Team worker, self-motivated and proactive
- Supported key projects
- Recognise priorities within own workload
- Delivers to deadlines
- Strong understanding and administration of the employee lifecycle
