An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Contracts Assistant as part of SGN's Procurement & Supply Chain function.
Reporting to the Lead Contracts Manager the role will support the Contract Management Team in the development, implementation, and ongoing management of post-award contract administration.
**What will you be doing day to day?**
- Focused primarily on the onboarding and administration of third-party contractors, the role will be required to;
- Develop, document, and manage all contract lifecycle administration processes and procedures.
- Support the Contract Management team with contractor relationship management, commercial administration, and formal dispute resolution.
- Act as a liaison between SGN and third parties.
- Support third-party contractors in using payment systems, resolving disputes, and escalations.
- Develop, maintain, and present reports in relation to contractor KPIs and financial performance.
- Identify and manage third-party training requirements.
- Organise and track the distribution and return of vehicles and other equipment.
**What you’ll need**
- A Procurement background, or relevant experience/qualification in Contract Management, Supply Chain Management, Quantity Surveying, Accountancy or Legal.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to manage and prioritise own workload, in a fast-paced environment, to deadlines.
- Previous administration experience, as well as excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
- Analytical and reporting skills.
