This role is offering up to 25 hours a week however can be highly flexible around hours and days.

Following a high number of projects over the last 12 months, the tax function has grown massively and require someone to assist with several entities tax matters.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Tax Compliance focusing on Corporate tax but also providing ad hoc support for PAYE and VAT queries.
- Prepare Corporate and Deferred tax provisions for the business' results for internal and external reporting.
- Assist in preparation of the tax notes included in the statutory accounts for the Group and subsidiary companies.
- Prepare Corporate tax returns and assist with Quarterly Group VAT consolidation.
- Reconcile tax balance sheet accounts across the company's subsidiaries
- Manage Group Corporate tax provisions to facilitate quarterly payments on account
- Maintain the group tax consolidation schedules
- Liaise with key stakeholders throughout the business with regard to the preparation of their annual tax packs.
- Assist in the Group year end tax reporting for inclusion in the Annual Group Financial Reporting pack
- Liaise with external auditors
- Provide support with documentation for SAO compliance and tax governance.
- Liaise with the HMRC Customer Compliance manager and other members of the HMRC team to ensure smooth delivery of tax compliance obligations including claims and elections.
- Supporting the Tax Manager with ad hoc tax advisory on PAYE and VAT queries
- Assist with integration of acquisitions into the group
