We are looking for a skilled, versatile, and knowledgeable **Classic Vehicle Technician / Heritage Mechanic** that has a keen interest in classic vehicles and motorsport. Based in Witney, you will be working on bespoke, one-off vehicle builds,with an extensive variety of prestigious brand names and surrounded by vehicles of incredible provenance which are prepared to a concourse standard.

The company is a specialist in classic and vintage car restoration, preparation, and maintenance, with a strong presence in the rally scene. The **Classic Vehicle Technician / Heritage Mechanic** will be working on the vehicles of high-net-worth individuals, who have a passion for the fantastic and rare cars that they own. The company is globally renowned for their uniqueexpertise in the field and deliver the highest quality of service in class.

The desired **Classic Vehicle Technician / Heritage Mechanic** will need a positive, resourceful outlook, stable leadership skills and a tenacious work ethic.You will be responsible for general maintenance and servicing ofthese classic and vintage cars, while also performing restoration work in preparation for any events the customer may be attending both internationally and in the UK.

As a **Classic Vehicle Technician / Heritage Mechanic**you will be expected to have a high attention to detail and be able to work diligently. You will be required to work both as part of a team, and as an individual, without constant supervisionusing your own initiative to overcome complication.

**Responsibilities of the Classic Vehicle Technician/ Heritage Mechanic
- Whole vehicle preparation, assembly and build including trim.
- Mechanical and Electrical assembly and build tasks.
- Fitting part/full interior trim packages.
- Diagnosis and support logging of build issues and engineering improvements.
- Reading and interpreting engineer drawings.
- Experience of using a variety of handheld tools.
- Experience of working with precision components.
- Fabrication of specialist components.
- Restoration work on damaged or aged vehicle parts.

**The ideal
**Classic Vehicle Technician/ Heritage Mechanic**
- Must have extensive hands-on experience of whole vehicles.
- Good engineering background is essential
- Experience of previous vehicle assembly/build work is essential.
- Ability to work as a team member and follow work instructions.
- Resourceful with a proven record of being able to solve problems.
- Ability to develop good technical solutions to build/ quality issues.
- Excellent organisational skills, proficient at managing and prioritising work schedule
- Strong attention to detail.
- Flexible and varied skill set.
- Fabrication experience, with ability to construct and fit roll cages.
