NJR Recruitment is representing a highly regarded wealth management organisation that is based in the York area. Our client holds an excellent reputation within the industry and provides wealth management advice to both private clients and business owners.An exciting, and newly created opportunity is now available for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join their team with a view to developing into a full Pension Specialist.
You will join a growing team in a fast paced, busy, working environment, you will support the finance & operations director and the assistant accountant with the data input of purchases and sales invoices on to a system, handle any queries and other generalfinance tasks.
**Responsibilities**:
Paying general suppliers
Maintaining the aged debts records and raising sales invoices
Credit control
Carrying out monthly closing off reconciliations
Processing purchase/sales invoices to Sage
Daily bank reconciliations
Assisting with Payroll processing
Valuation work reconciling back office system to Sage
**Requirements**:
AAT level 4 or studying towards
A bookkeeping background
IT literate - must have Excel spreadsheet knowledge
A Financial Services background would be desirable
Needs to have strong interpersonal skills as will be liaising with other departments and Advisers
Self motivated (constant supervision is not required)
