**Key Duties/Tasks**:

- Process end-to-end payrolls at high volume with varying frequencies.
- Proactively initiating, consulting and implementing procedures to ensure that payrolls are processed accurately.
- Dealing with complex payroll procedures and issues.
- Handling Pension returns.
- Processing PAYE, NIC.
- Dealing with HMRC and keeping in line with all current legislation.
- Payroll Reconciliation.
- Producing reports for senior management.
- UAT of any system changes and customer change requests.

**Desirable skills and attributes**:

- Bureau/shared service experience.
- Several years of payroll experience with strong end-to-end payroll experience as a Payroll Specialist/Senior.
- High volume payroll or ability to adapt.
- Must have worked in a high-pressure/fast-paced environment.
- Ability to do manual calculations.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.
- Experience of processing payroll accurately and at senior levels with discretion.
