We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Testing Technician to work a fully accredited quality testing department.
The main duties of the role include
- Handling samples and preparing for testing
- Testing samples of furniture, against British, European and international standards
- Communicating with customers
- Predominantly testing of seating items - including sofas, chairs, stools, outdoor seating, educational seating and children’s seating as well as other types of furniture.
Experience of testing in a laboratory/workshop would be advantageous must be highly organised, must possess a high level of dexterity as this role is hands on.
Will have experience of working within a testing or quality assurance function, must be comfortable to interact with various diverse organisations and cultures.
Competent with Microsoft Office in particular Excel and Word.
