**Vendor Sales Specialist**

**Reading - £35,000 - £45,000 OTE of £65,000+**

IT Distributor specialising in Security, Network Solutions and Managed Services are looking for a Vendor Sales Specialist with an IT Distributor background and experience in vendor partnerships to join the team. You will be developing and enhancing resellerpartnerships across the UK and this will be a mixture of existing accounts and also Net New Business.

**Key duties include**:

- Driving vendor launch and developmental plans
- Keeping forecast sales on target whilst maintaining a pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Ensure company reaches assigned quota by composing new business strategies and tactical business plans
- Build and maintain consultative relationships with senior executives, finding out customers priorities and challenges
- Propose solutions to address customers problems
- Educate nationwide resellers on the latest products
- Enhance partner program outcomes by ensuring they are aware of the latest product developments through consistent information sharing
- Promoting new business development in conjunction with the vendor and reseller base
- Coordinate account mapping with the vendor sales team and reseller base

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years experience in IT distribution sales with consistent track record of exceeding targets
- Relevant industry experience in Networking and IT Security sales highly desirable.
- Have a client - service oriented mindset with exceptional interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills
- Be a proactive and self motivated member of the team
- Ability to get to grips with advanced topics quickly
- Proven organisational skills with ability to multitask and prioritise
- Thrives in a fast paced, high growth, rapidly changing environment
- Able to work independently an remotely with other team members
