**About the Senior Front-End Developer position**:
As a Senior Front-End Developer, we’re looking for someone to join us and put their stamp on our code-base, challenge the norm, and help us find better ways of doing things.

You’ll join our development team and be responsible for defining, building and implementing the customer experience of our multilingual webstores.

Along our other senior and lead developers, you’ll be a point of contact for any show-stopping issues, and will peer review the code others in the team, and mentor and guide others in best practice.

The position involves working with third party integrations of various tools; implementing new integrations, building new features and outstanding UI/UX as we work through our digital transformation.

**Day-to-day, the Senior Front-End Developer position will involve**:

- Being responsible for key site functionality and inputting into new technical design
- A keen eye for coding standards and recommending / implementing new technologies as the opportunities arise
- Ensuring the correct implementation in respect of technical requirements and performance
- Delivering code which is well tested and consistently error free
- Reviewing peers’ code and collaborating within our SEO squad and with colleagues across the organisation and around the world
- Maintaining up-to-date documentation
- Timely communication of any potential delay in progress and fulfilment of milestones
- Being part of a team of software developers, responsible for developing and supporting industry leading, robust and innovative software solutions on our Hybris platform
- Keeping up to date with the latest software development technologies and methodologies
- Interpreting business requirements and building them into working solutions

**We're looking for a Senior Front-End Developer with**:

- Experience and extensive knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript is essential
- Strong knowledge of a JavaScript framework (preferably Angular)
- A desire to help team members develop their skills and take on a mentorship role
- Good understanding of web performance and optimisation
- Knowledge of CSS Pre & Post Processors
- Strong knowledge of code versioning (GIT)
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
