**Job description**:
**Purpose Statement**

The primary purpose of the Fabric Maintenance Coordinator is to define and implement the fabric maintenance (FM), programme. This includes: Responsibility for all aspects of asset fabric condition, coatings, insulation, passive fire protection (PFP), tertiary equipment (handrails, gratings, unistrut.); Ensure materials used in FM work-scopes are suitable and consciously selected to provide optimal quality versus cost; Ensure integrity risks associated with external corrosion and fabric degradation are assessed, categorised and repair prioritised as per Spirit-Energy procedures; Responsible for mobilisation of people, materials, and equipment to facilities in accordance with integrated activity planning (IAP) criteria; Coordinates with Asset Integrity team to review SAP notifications/WO's and Asset Integrity database to generate asset integrity reviewed scopes of work; Develops annual FM defect scopes of work and shutdown dependent scopes.The position is based in the Aberdeen office with the FM work execution offshore on Central Production Complex (CPC) and at Barrow Gas reception terminal/Rivers terminal. Frequent offshore visits are necessary for scope attainment audits, internal QA audits and knowledge sharing. Off-site QA visits to prospective FM entities may also be required. Performing as the Spirit Scaffolding Technical Authority (EA-3) is also required.

**Role Deliverables and Responsibilities**

The safe delivery and proactive SAP Maintenance planning of all Fabric Maintenance objectives in a timely manner in an offshore environment. A can-do approach when faced with problematic issues and support always to Spirit-Energy core values of Care, Agility, Courage, Delivery and Collaboration. Manage the FM contractor to ensure effective implementation of all FM work-scopes (all coatings, insulation, scaffolding, flange protection etc.). Work with Integrity and Inspection positions to ensure appropriate FM programmes are implemented. Co-ordinate offshore FM contractor activities. Work with Integrity and Inspection positions to develop inspection strategies and programmes to address threats to the assets 'fabric' integrity, handrails and gratings; uni-strut; brackets in line with industry best practice - HSE hydrocarbon leak reduction toolkit, Spirit-Energy AI Recommended Practice (RP) documents (self-assessment checklists)'; Energy Institute Corrosion Management RP. Responsible for the development and implementation of 'tertiary' equipment maintenance/replacement programmes. Work with the Integrity Engineer to develop an integrated insulation removal and inspection programme (in support of the CUI/WSE strategy). Responsible for contributing to the monthly and annual FM reports including KPI's on plan attainment, fabric maintenance backlog (by category), productivity. Ensure procedures, specifications and documents are kept current and reviewed at specified intervals, coating specification; insulation specification; surface preparation procedure. Ensure timely closure of all assigned actions in MyHSE, ICP, audit, Strategic Improvement Plan actions. Ensure all contractors are fully aware of the impairment criteria for all Safety Critical Elements and understand the safety element role of the equipment being worked on. Ensure all 'new' projects comply with the relevant Spirit-Energy specifications and standards with respect to meeting fabric maintenance standards. Continuous Programme Review & Improvement: Responsible for the review and analysis of completed FM work-packs / programmes. Responsible for coordinating QA/QC of the FM contractor work and ensuring an audit programme is in place. Responsible for ensuring that all emerging fabric maintenance work is developed from the maintenance management system and incorporated into the appropriate work-scopes.
