My client is the global boutique asset manager of a prominent financial services firm boasting impressive fund performance year on year. A new Senior role has been created for a technical Corporate Actions Specialist to act as the Deputy to an impressiveand highly accomplished Corporate Actions Manager.
This role is not a processing role and requires SME Corporate Actions knowledge to take a lead role overseeing Voluntary Corporate Action processing performed by a team of 7 Analysts across all markets for the EMEA & APAC regions. As the SME for the team youprovide support to the team Manager attending senior management meetings in her absence.
As a senior member of the team, you will represent the London team working as part of a global team with members based in London, Hong Kong, Chicago and India, including Portfolio Managers and Front Office Support teams offering enormous exposure.
To be considered, it is ESSENTIAL Senior Corporate Action's SME's will come from an ASSET MANAGEMENT environment and will demonstrate in-depth knowledge of complex voluntary corporate actions (Equity & Fixed Income) across all markets and will be fully conversantwith the associated risks related to corporate actions to provide solutions to Front Office as and when required. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the daily functions performed by the team as well as monitoring risk and exposure on a dailybasis.
As the senior member of the team, you will also act as the first point of contact for the team for technical queries and provide the team coaching in the research and resolution of complex issues requiring strong technical knowledge in respect of the principlesand market practices of Corporate Actions.
