**HR Officer
**HRGO are currently supporting a market leading global manufacturing business in their search for a HR Officer.
This is a full time permanent position and the hours of work are Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30 and Friday 08:00 - 13:30, Nice early finish on a Friday
The main purpose of the role is to support the HR function in day to day activities whilst supporting employees and line managers.
**Duties include**:
Provide support to line managers relating to HR matters including policies and procedures, employment law, employee relations.
Assisting and supporting with disciplinary, grievance and absence management.
Helping managers and colleagues to develop their HR knowledge and skills.
Overseeing the HR Assistant to ensure daily tasks are carried out according to guidelines.
Assisting with writing new policies and regularly reviewing current ones to make sure they are up to date.
Lead recruitment activities.
Ensure contractual terms and conditions are in line with current legislation and job descriptions are updated regularly.
Support the Apprenticeship programme.
Work with managers to identify training and development requirements.
Support the wider HR team with other projects.
**Skills/experience required:
**CIPD qualified or studying towards gaining the qualification.**
**Prior experience in HR.**
**Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
