**THE ROLE**
An opportunity has arisen for the role of TMA Planner for Major Works replacement activity in Construction South covering a wide geographical area in the South including Oxford, South Coast and Aldershot, reporting to the Engineering Manager.
The key responsibilities of the job are:
- Programming and monitoring of projects submitted as part of SGN’s Mains Replacement (REPEX) programme. The management of an accurate and dynamic programme of construction works lies within this remit
- You will ensure compliance with NRSWA and be responsible for managing opening notices appropriately and that all customer and stakeholder notification is compliant
- Liaise closely with SGN communication and stakeholder teams to enable the best customer experience whilst providing relevant updates
- Identifying projects requiring lane rental and PR, assisting Project Managers, and liaising with corporate communications department as required
- The role encompasses the 'Gatekeeper’ function for the management responsibility for CDM
- Liaising with local authorities on projects affecting the road network, attending coordination meetings providing updates and future project plans
- Monitoring of project progress, attending planning meetings and Contract liaison/monitoring/preparation of orders and compliance with SGN procedures
- Provide updates on risk removal from the network e.g. Live Heads, mandatories, CRG and project deferrals
- The role requires consultation and close liaison with SGN operations, Local Authorities, and our contract business partners to build excellent working relationships to ensure a robust programme is delivered. You will organise and lead on planning meetingswith external contract business partners
- You will work closely with SGN’s framework and DPS contractors ensuring workload and targets are deliverable and timelines are met
- Liaise closely with our network planning team in terms of project design and yearly workload (redesigns etc)

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**
No academic qualifications/certifications are essential in this role. The technical skills and job knowledge/experience essential in this job are:
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing and have ability to manage any potential conflict relating to contractors/third parties
- Ability to organise and lead meetings via TEAMs or in person
- Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
