**The Company**
Able Bridge Recruitment are expanding their client portfolio and have been invited by a large, internationally recognised brand to assist them in the recruitment of a financial analyst. The role straddles several business units, however is mainly focused ona logistics arm of the organisation. Being based in Edinburgh city centre, you will report directly into the head of financial planning an analysis and will have various stakeholders to manage and maintain relationships.

The role has been created on the back of a financial change agenda and the business require additional support to deliver the changes that are planned for the next 6 - 12 months.

**The Responsibilities**
The purpose of this role is provide robust finance business partnering support to a specific business entity aiding them in their weekly and month end timetable. You will also be an adviser to the business unit(s) in relation to budgeting and forecasting requirements.

**On a day to day basis you can expect to be involved in the following;**
Act as the lead management accountant in managing a small team of financial analysts ensuring that regular reporting, management accounts and KPI reports are completed within corporate timeframes.
Embed into your specific business area/unit and provide first in class business partnering experience by identifying financial patterns, performance and sporadic analysis for individual business cases.
Own the process of the reporting process for group regions of your entity, ensuring that group accounts are consolidated into an overarching P&L.
Work closely with the business by having regular reviews to ensure output and margin's are maximised as well as reviewing cost saving targets that will improve efficiencies.
Oversite and review of monthly reconciliations that will affect balance sheet position.
