**Primary Role Purpose**

Providing administrative support to the Finance Manager to assist with the overall running of the accounts department

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**

As part of the finance team, you will be responsible for:

- Answering enquiries
- Liaising with relevant person to find answers to any queries

**Outgoing Communication**
- Ensuring all outgoing correspondence is well presented and free from errors

**Administration**
- Generating accurate sales invoices, understanding payment terms, working with Project Managers to ensure interim invoices are raised and paid on time
- Processing sales commissions
- Issuing customer account statements
- Matching and checking supplier invoices and raise any queries / credit note requests
- Assisting with credit control
- Collecting weekly sales data for analysis

**SAGE 50**
- Accurately inputting sales invoices, payments received, supplier invoices
- Accurately inputting new customer and supplier details on SAGE and ensuring any changes of details is carefully recorded
- Checking that all invoices listed on supplier statements are correctly entered on SAGE, liaising with the purchasing team and suppliers to correct any discrepancies
- Digitalising the installation schedule on SAGE

**Customer Relationship Management**
- Providing excellent customer service at all times
- Presenting a positive reflection of the Company at all times
- Maintaining and servicing relationships with existing customers and suppliers

**Person Specification**

**Essential Requirements**:

- Previous experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience of working successfully as part of a team in a busy, fast paced environment
- Ability to recognise confidential information and be trustworthy and discreet with sensitive data
- A professional telephone manner and great communication skills
- Evidence of excellent attention to detail and accuracy within your work
- Ability to work individually, multi-task and use your own initiative to successfully prioritise a busy workload, often working to tight deadlines
- Willingness to learn and improve
- Ability to review your own work to ensure accuracy
- Confidence to be able to approach Senior Management and Company Directors
- Own transport to travel to and from work

**Desirable Requirements**:

- Experience in a soft furnishing or interior design environment
- Some previous experience working in a busy admin or finance department or solid evidence that you possess relevant transferable skills
- Experience with using SAGE 50
