Join Elysium Healthcare as a Painter and Maintenance Assistant for Potters Bar Clinic and be valued, supported and recognised as you help create a comfortable environment for some of the most vulnerable people in society.
You will work 37.5 hours a week, which will see you will turn your hand to all maintenance and painting-related tasks, including undertaking PPM (planned preventative maintenance), repairs and responding to emergencies.
Supporting the SSM and Regional Site Managers, you will be responsible for providing supervision and completing outstanding maintenance requests and projects. You will be responsible for overseeing and identifying risks to health, safety and security.
You will work towards painting schedules, maintaining safe working practices when operating hand, power and workshop tools and undertake local risk assessments.
- You may be required to provide driving services and therefore will need a full and clean UK driving license _
**Your responsibilities**:
- You will work with the Support Services Team assisting in Health & Safety/ Fire issues in order to promote a safe environment
- Ensure equipment and materials are used transported and stored correctly
- Promote health and safety procedures by ensuring all work areas and tools meet health and safety requirements
**To be successful in this role, you'll need**:
- NVQ or C&G in craft trade (ideally electrical)
- Painting experience
- Good building maintenance background, awareness of Health & Safety regulations
- Full and clean UK driving licence
- Ideally experience of working within Health Care Service
