My Client has an immediate vacancy for a Mechanical Design Engineer with excellent SolidWorks experience to work on several exciting programmes and projects within our Aerospace Division.

This is an fantastic opportunity to work for a professional engineering company that offers a great working environment in new purpose-built premises to deliver excellent customer service.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be working closely with the Chief Engineer (Aerospace) and your responsibilities will include:

- CAD design (SolidWorks) of Mechanical systems and components from concept through to production.
- Working with internal departments and suppliers to provide engineering design and problem-solving activities to support internal and customer projects.
- Creation and management of supporting engineering documentation including Part and BOM creation.
- Engineering change control management.
- Generation of manufacturing and assembly documentation along with 2D drawings for procurement purposes.
- Responsible for ongoing product enhancement projects.
