The role:
Purchase Orders
- Supplier creation - following approval and sign off by Senior Buyer
- PO Creation - to meet the demands of internal customers
- PO Maintenance - requesting supplier updates and informing internal customers of changes

MRP
- MRP review and PO creation

Sourcing & Tenders
- Supplier identification and engagement
- Requests for quotation
- Contract/Order placement

Bill of Materials
- Part code creation
- BOM maintenance

Reporting
- Monthly KPIs
- Purchase Order Management
- Any other departmental data as required

The person:

- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
- Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure
- Self-motivated and a strong team member
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Understanding of ERP systems
