Do you have experience of working on clients **energy or utilities bills?** Do you have experience of working in an energy bureau? A leading energy consultancy are looking for a **Bureau Analyst** to be responsible for carrying out a variety of bureau task including **data entry, invoice validation and bill analysis for water customers**. **Responsibilities**:

- Ensure customers receive an efficient and effective bill validation solution
- To take care of; bill validation & sending turnaround, awaiting invoices volume & priority analysis, frequency/volume of supplier issues around failed validations and missing invoices with case management.
- Act as a first line contact point for any utility bill-related queries
- Obtainatrackreceiptofenergyinvoicesonamonthlybasis.
- Develop an understanding of billingelements
- Issue weekly, monthly and ad hocreports
- Liaisewithsupplierstoraiseandresolveinvoicequeriesina timely manner
- Identify process improvements thatcould develop and drive the business
- Communicate ongoing queries internally to the relevantparties.
- Adhere to internal processes to ensure guidelines aremet
- Attend training and to develop relevant knowledgeskills

**Key skills and experience**:

- Previous working experience for a utility supplier, brokerage or consultancy with a solid understanding of the elements of a utility bill (Electricity, Gas and Water)
- Ability to use data analysis to inform reporting and decision-making
- PowerBI and Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Keen commercial common sense, able to keep the business informed of latest technologies, legislation and compliance requirements.
- Experience analysing / reporting on the energy data and the costs that drive a business.
- Customer service experience
- Experiences with Optima system, HubSpot, SharePoint
