One of my favourite things being an agency recruiter is when I work with the same company a number of times over a number of years. Building relationships with the hiring managers and recruiters and really getting to understand the business and the changesit is going through, I genuinely feel like an extension of their brand. Well this business is one of those instances and a company who really invest in their employees and endeavour to empower them.
With that said, a growing, global and impressive Northamptonshire manufacturing brand are currently looking for a People Operations Manager to join their well-established HR function and mainly support their HR Advisor shared service function. This rolewill sit within their UK and Ireland team and report to the Head of People (UK&I).
You will manage the HR Advisor team of around 6, now this isn't you 'usual' HR Advisor shared service, this team are very impressive. They support the HR BP's very closely, building relationships with key stakeholders and provide complete ER focused supportto around 300 employees As you can imaging, this is a busy team and therefore they need a manager who is:
- Comfortable being the escalation point for complex cases, coaching the Advisor on process to up-skill them on best practise
- Line management to the team of 6 to ensure personal development
- Risk management - for this up to date employment law knowledge is very necessary
- Partner with the wider HR function to look in to continuous improvement of the whole employee life cycle
- Projects focusing on D&I
- Managing reporting data via the HRIS to establish trends and actions for better performance and support
This company have completely embraced agile working and therefore you will only be based out of the office up to twice a week in Northamptonshire.
This is a permanent role and is paying around £50,000p.a.
