**Overview**

We are looking for a Cleaner to take care of our office in West Thurrock and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties.

The goal is to keep our office in a clean and orderly condition.

**Responsibilities**
- Clean, stock and supply designated areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
- Follow all health and safety regulations

**Requirements and skills**
- Proven working experience as a Cleaner
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
- Integrity

A Cleaner is responsible for all basic cleaning in and around the office building. This can entail dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and cleaning smudges off windows and doors. Ensuring restrooms are cleaned, sanitized, and restocked is another important responsibility of a cleaner.

The successful cleaner will have an awareness of how to clean responsibly and use hazardous cleaning chemicals safely to maintain their health while ensuring the end user's wellbeing. Trustworthiness and attention to detail are other traits essential for an effective cleaner.

- To comply with the requirements of the Quest Medical UK Ltd Health and Safety Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.

- To maintain consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and the adherence to relevant Health & Safety procedures.
- To pursue the personal development of skills and the knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role.
- To represent Quest Medical UK Ltd in a professional manner at all times.
- To assist the Executive Directors and Team, Contract Managers, Supervisors & Quest Medical UK Ltd with a range of other duties and responsibilities as and when required.

Full clean driving licence and use of own transport is essential due to Office location.

**Hours of Work**

The hours of work will be 2 hours per week, from and to times to be agreed with Transport Manager, although a level of flexibility is required.

**Salary**:£18.50 per hour
