Compliance Administrator

My Altrincham based client are a market leading specialist recruitment agency, due to continued growth my client requires a recruitment compliance administrator to join the business on a temporary to permanent basis to start ASAP.
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- To carry out the end
- to
- end compliance process when a new contractor has accepted a role and when existing documents need updating or revalidating, in accordance with a company checklist.
- To have knowledge of what is required in terms of biometric cards, visas, and settlement status where applicable and complete verification for British workers.
- To liaise with the worker to advise what documents will be required and advise of any anomalies or difficulties/delay in receiving appropriate documentation.
- To prepare and take part in an annual audit and carry out any remedial action as required.
- To maintain an existing comprehensive spreadsheet listing training renewal dates, passport renewal dates, Health certificate renewals etc.
- To familiarise oneself with my client’s registration form as to which areas need completing and forward action.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- Previous administration experience ideally compliance or recruitment related
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of the confidentiality requirements of working in a recruitment and compliance team
- Good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written (accurate spelling and grammar)
