What you'll be doing:
Conducting load flow, short circuit, and stability analysis of an electrical power systemManagement and analysis of the electrical load budget Developing and validating electrical models Collaborating with multi-discipline teams, suppliers and stakeholders on matters related to the power system Preparing technical reports, calculations, and presentations communicating results and advising recommendationsDeveloping and mentoring other team membersYour skills and experiences:
Essential
Degree qualified or equivalent experience in electrical engineeringChartered Engineer or working towards chartershipKnowledge of high power and medium voltage power systems and distributionsExperience conducting electrical load budget and load flow analysisAn understanding in power system analysis software tools (e.g., ETAP, Simulink/Simscape, MATLAB)Stakeholder management experienceBenefits:

The Electrical Verification Team:
As part of the Electrical Verification Team, you will be involved in the verification and validation of the power system, conducting analysis, and performing calculations to support the maturity and design of the electrical platform. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
