Business Development Manager – Warrington/ West Bromwich

About You

This role may be based from either our Warrington or West Bromwich offices, and covers business development with clients in the North region. There will be an element of travel to customer sites and therefore, flexibility in office/working location.

The Role:

  1. Identify and develop new business opportunities and promote and sell Toshiba's products and services.
  2. Demonstrate and undertake lead generation activities.
  3. Develop new business opportunities whilst managing and growing an existing portfolio of accounts.
  4. Work closely with clients, establishing and developing relationships, and guiding them through Toshiba's products and services.
  5. Serve as a link of communication between key customers and internal teams, liaising with operations and other stakeholders to ensure an excellent level of customer service.
  6. Report and forecast regional sales pipeline/achievements to the Head of Direct Sales.
  7. Be visible and interactive with current and new customers.
  8. Remain up to date with market changes and competitor activity while delivering sales initiatives and campaigns.

What You Will Have to Succeed:

  1. Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
  2. B2B sales experience.
  3. A proven track record generating new business, ideally selling managed print solutions, document management, or printing equipment.
  4. Understanding of how software and hardware work together by offering tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of clients.
  5. Specialisation in document printing and information technology solutions to drive sales growth and new customer acquisition.
  6. A strong record in new business sales.
  7. A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in new business development.
  8. Highly confident in presenting to customers as well as colleagues.

Salary between £35,000 - £45,000 and OTE earnings of over £80k, plus a company car/car allowance, a contributory pension scheme, 33 days annual leave, plus an excellent benefits package and the chance to progress your career within a truly fantastic global company.
