Payroll Manager

We are partnered with an organisation in the healthcare industry who are seeking a professional and experienced Payroll Manager to join their large & busy payroll department on a full time, permanent basis.
Reporting into the Head of Payroll and working alongside another Payroll Manager, this role will have an initial focus on leading on a new payroll system implementation, with a longer term BAU focus.
Responsibilities include:- Supporting the Head of Payroll with day to day management of the team
- Conducting 1:1s and appraisals
- KPI reporting
- Processing of high volume & complex payrolls on a weekly & monthly basis
- Deputise for the Head of Payroll as required
- Payroll year end duties
- Reviews processes and recommending improvements
- Lead and support on the new system implementation and training of the team where required
- Strong UK payroll experience
- Exposure to high volume & complex payrolls
- Strong leadership & people management experienced
- Experience of implementing a new payroll system
- CIPP qualification
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Workday payroll experience is desirable
